National Tree Week - Arboretum Tree Planting Event

Many thanks to the 56 environmentally conscious volunteers of all ages who turned up to plant over a thousand young trees in the Arboretum Extension.

A variety of wildlife friendly species, supplied by the Woodland Trust, was planted with a view to providing future resources for the proposed Country Park.

This was the fourth planting session organised by the Group over the past two years.
